Carmen is a one-of-one, upcycled denim jean with brocade button and pocket detailing to restore the jean with intention. Retro Indian embroidery unfolds in a continuous ornamental motif along the side seam, drawing from cowboy culture and reworking it through Indian hand-embroidery traditions using stonework, katdana, moti, pearl, dabka and nakshi. The ornamentation is rich where it counts.
